- Africa: Fouta Djalon region in Guinea (upper Gambia, Bafing, upper Konkouré and the upper basins of the Little Scarcies rivers) (Ref. 2940 , 81282 ). Also known from the rivers of Guinea Bissau (Ref. 2801 ). Ref. 13331 also reports species in Géba and Kolenté (Great Scarcies) rivers.
