Fish Atlas is a fish encyclopedia operated by Don. These terms describe the permitted use of this website. Questions and reports can be sent to fishatlas222@gmail.com.
Information and corrections
The encyclopedia is provided for general learning. Species names, distributions and other records may change or contain errors. Content is not a substitute for a specialist identification, species-specific husbandry advice, or current official conservation and fisheries guidance. Send corrections with the page address and supporting evidence. Do not rely on a picture or common name alone to decide whether a fish is safe to handle or consume.
Content and permissions
Copyright and other rights remain with their respective owners. Third-party photographs, data and other materials may have separate licences and attribution requirements. Access to this website does not grant a blanket licence to redistribute its contents. Check the source and licence of each item before reuse; contact us if the terms for a particular item are unclear.
Accounts and acceptable use
Protect your account and do not access another person's account without permission. Do not submit unlawful or infringing material, expose another person's private information, disrupt the service, or circumvent access controls. We may restrict abusive activity to protect users and the service. Reports and corrections are not automatically published as public contributions.
Saved and shared results
Account features may store exploration progress. Use the controls provided to export or clear supported data. If you create a public result link, people with access to it may view and copy its contents. Revoking a link cannot recall copies already downloaded or saved by others.
External services and availability
Linked websites and third-party services apply their own terms and privacy practices. Features may change or become temporarily unavailable. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded. Data handling is described in our Privacy policy. Material changes to these terms will be reflected in the update date shown on this page.
