Enteromius ablabes is a species of ray-finned fish in the genus Enteromius. It occurs in West Africa from the Sahel to the coast between Guinea and Nigeria, south to the central Congo Basin. The relationship of E. ablabes to other Enteromius is uncertain.

Africa: wide distribution area, known from the Sahelian as well as from coastal basins (Ref. 2940 , 81282 , 81639 ). Identification of collections from the upper Koto River drainage (Ubangi tributary, middle Congo River basin) in Central African Republic (Ref. 41414 ) needs confirmation.
