- Africa: Cunene, Okavango, Zambezi and Limpopo systems, common in Zimbabwe and Zambia; also widespread in Central and East Africa (Ref. 52193 ), south- and eastwards from the upper Congo River basin (Ref. 45616 ). In the upper Congo basin present in the drainages of the Lualaba (Ref. 36901 ), upper Lualaba (Ref. 45616 ), Mweru-Luapula and Bangweulu-Chambeshi (Ref. 95585 ). Probably also in the Malagarasi (Ref. 54847 ).
