Distribution
Africa: present in large Sudanese basins (Chad, Niger, Volta, Senegal, Gambia), but also in the Comoé and Bandama Rivers in Côte d'Ivoire (Ref. 2940 , 81282 ), and Rokel, Jong and Moa Rivers in Sierra Leone (Ref. 2940 ). In the Nile basin known from the Sudd (Jebel system) and White Nile (Ref. 28714 ).
