Enteromius brevidorsalis (dwarf barb) is a species of ray-finned fish in the genus Enteromius which occurs in southern central Africa in the upper Zambezi basin and nearby rivers.

In the Congo basin present in the Lake Mweru system (Ref. 26709 , 42540 ) up to the Bangweulu-Chambesi area (Ref. 42135 , 95585 ), in the upper Lualaba and in the upper Kasai (Ref. 41590 ) and Kwilu systems (Ref. 11970 ).
