Squalius malacitanus, the Málaga chub, is a species of freshwater ray-finned fish belonging to the family Leuciscidae, the daces, Eurasian minnows and related fishes. It was first isolated from the Guadalmina River in Málaga, hence its name. It is considered a vulnerable species.
