The Tokyo bitterling (Pseudorhodeus tanago) is a temperate freshwater ray-finned fish belonging to the family Acheilognathidae. This fish is endemic to the island of Honshu in Japan. The species was first described as Rhodeus tanago by Shigeho Tanaka in 1909.
