- Africa: tributaries of the middle Congo River, including the Kasai (Ref. 11970 ), Alima (Ref. 2988 ), Léfini (Ref. 88782 ), Tshuapa (Ref. 41580 ), Aruwimi and Uele (Ref. 41594 ) in Republic of Congo, Democratic Republic of the Congo and Angola. Reports from the Ogooué (Gabon) probably erroneous, based on the incorrect placing of the type locality (Ref. 78218 ).
