- Africa: Congo River basin, from the lower Congo River up to the Lualaba, in Democratic Republic of the Congo, Central African Republic and Angola (Ref. 26192 ). Record from the Sanaga (Ref. 1440 ) doubtfull and unconfirmed (Ref. 26192 , 81639 ). Possibly also present in the Okavango in Angola (Ref. 120641 ).
