The thinlip splitfin (Kaperangus microlepis) is a species of ray-finned fish in the family Synagropidae. It lives around Africa's Atlantic coast at a depth of 50–500 m (160–1,640 ft) and can grow up to 16.5 cm (6.5 in) long.
