Forty Five Centimeters Catfish from the Red Sea
Hexanematichthys sagor, the Sagor catfish, Sagor sea catfish, Sunda sea-catfish, marine catfish or dusky catfish, is a species of catfish in the family Ariidae. It was described by Francis Buchanan-Hamilton in 1822, originally under the genus Pimelodus. It inhabits estuaries and freshwater bodies in numerous areas of the Indo-Western Pacific Ocean.

- Indo-West Pacific: Pakistan, west and east coast of India, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indo-Australian Archipelago (but not occurring in Papua New Guinea or Australia). Also reported from China, and Philippines (Ref. 7050 ). Reports from eastern Africa and the Red Sea need confirmation.
