Osteogaster eques, the horseman's cory catfish or true eques cory, is a tropical freshwater fish belonging to the subfamily Corydoradinae of the family Callichthyidae. It was first described by Austrian zoologist Franz Steindachner. It is native to the Brazilian Amazon basin.
