- Africa: affluents of the Lualaba (upper Congo River basin), Rusizi and Lake Tanganyika in Democratic Republic of the Congo, Burundi (Ref. 87863 ), Rwanda (Ref. 87863 ) and Tanzania (Ref. 4967 ). Also reported from the upper Kagera drainage in Rwanda (Ref. 87863 ). Reports from the Lufira drainage (upper Congo basin) (Ref. 2970 ) not confirmed. Reports possibly from Lake Kivu (Ref. 59189 , 83444 ) questionable and unconfirmed in Ref. 3818 or 107916.
