小鬚盤唇鱨為輻鰭魚綱鯰形目倒立鯰科的其中一種，為熱帶淡水魚，分布於非洲剛果河下游流域，體長可達4.9公分，棲息在底中層水域，生活習性不明。

分布: Africa: lower Congo, Kasai, Kwango, Dja, Aruwimi, Wagenia Falls, Lualaba and upper Lualaba in Cameroon, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Republic of Congo and Angola (Ref. 11970 , 12818 , 87986 , 106245 , 106290 ). Also in the Rungumba River (Lake Tanganyika affluent) in Democratic Republic of the Congo (Ref. 12818 ). Probably absent from West-Central and West Africa, where Chiloglanis batesii is found; reports of the latter from the Congo basin probably refer to Chiloglanis micropogon .
