Northeastern Atlantic: Bay of Biscay, stray in Mediterranean (Ref. 93173 ), to South Africa. Western Indian Ocean: South Africa to Somalia (Ref. 30573 ), but not Red Sea, to India. Reported from Indonesia (Ref. 5978 ) but not in the Pacific Ocean.
