杜氏錫伯鯰，為輻鰭魚綱鯰形目北非鯰科的其中一種，分布於非洲坦干伊喀湖流域，體長可達6.5公分，棲息在底層水域，屬肉食性，生活習性不明。

分布: Africa: distribution unknown. Type locality is "Lake Tanganyika", but there is serious doubt about the type locality of this species as Poll (1946) mentioned the absence of schilbeids from the Lake itself; possibly the type specimen of this species was collected in the Luala River (Kasai River basin) and was wrongly labelled afterwards (Ref. 43912 ). Ref. 3570 reports that the type may originate from "Lago Tana" (=Lake Tana in Ethiopia) instead of "Lago Tanganika".
