條紋矮脂鯉為輻鰭魚綱脂鯉目琴脂鯉亞目複齒脂鯉科的其中一種，為熱帶淡水魚，分布於非洲西部的淡水流域，體長可達6.6公分，棲息在底中層水域，生活習性不明，可作為觀賞魚。

Also in the Dja and Bumba rivers (middle Congo River basin) in Cameroon (Ref. 46233 ). Reported from Ntem and Kribi Rivers (Ref. 51193 ), but not confirmed in Ref. 81638 . Holotype from Gabon (Ref. 93570 ), without further specifications.
