盧庫盤唇鱨為輻鰭魚綱鯰形目倒立鯰科的其中一種，為熱帶淡水魚，分布於非洲Luapula河流域，體長可達9公分，棲息在岩石底質底中層水域，生活習性不明。

分布: Africa: described from the Luvua drainage (upper Congo River basin) in Democratic Republic of the Congo, which is the actual type locality, instead of the Lukuga as stated in the original description (Ref. 78218 ). Also reported from the Rusizi (Ref. 87863 ) and the middle Congo basin (Ref. 78218 , 106245 ) including Wagenia Falls (Ref. 106245 ) in DRC, the upper Kwango (middle Congo River basin) in Angola (Ref. 11970 ) and affluents of Lake Tanganyika (Ref. 78218 ) in DRC and Tanzania. Furthermore collected in the upper Lualaba and Sankuru basin (Ref. 12818 ). According to Ref. 78218 only the types can with certainty be identified as this species, awaiting revision.
