希氏非洲鮭鯉為輻鰭魚綱脂鯉目脂鯉亞目鮭脂鯉科的其中一種，為熱帶淡水魚，分布於非洲剛果河中游流域，體長可達10公分，棲息在底中層水域，生活習性不明。

Reports from the Ogowe (Ref. 5133 ) and coastal basins in Republic of Congo (Ref. 42032 ) unconfirmed in Ref. 80290 ; report from Itimbiri River (Ref. 42032 ) is based on misidentified specimens (E. Decru, pers. comm.).
